So tryin my hand at a 2 d sign. Roughing pass was okay, used 1/4 inch bit, pretty clean. Put in down cut 1/8 for the detail and the depth is off and also there seems to be a “shadow” if you can call it that to the right of the letters that isnt cut at all, depth is .315 and uncut is .268. Any help greatly appreciated. New at this.
In order to use 2 bits you’ll want to activate torque locking on the cnc.
Also you will need to set the z zero for the 2nd bit, you can’t just select “use last position” as the prior bit may have been inserted more or less than the 2nd bit…
