Cleaning out my phone, I found a shot of my Dremel mount on the x-carve. Apparently, I flipped the 24v spindle mount upside down to provide access to the on/off switch. Here is a photo.
I thought this might be helpful to those still using their spindles and need an emergency fix. This Dremel performed way better than any of the spindles I tried, including the 100 volt model (but it was close). This was a LONG time ago and I cannot remember the details, other than the Dremel fit after prying the mount slightly apart. It only takes a second to flip it upside. down.
