Is there any way to use a second detail bit? I have a couple words that need a tapered bit to come out cleanly but if I use that for the entire job it’s a 7-9 hour detail pass. Everything else would be good with a 1/16" detail

Look up the instructions for a two stage carve , and that should help you get the results you’re looking for.
I’m doing a 2 stage carve. 1/8" roughing. But 1/16" detail misses some stuff while 1/32" tapered takes forever. Ideally I’d like to do a 3 stage
