$366 on ebay

I will check out the google plus group. Any idea what the max z or material height is for this machine?

Focal distance stock is 50 mm (corrected from cm). Object size depends on the bed mods you make.

50cm is pretty big! I am guessing 50mm? I only gest here so please don’t take it the wrong way. Thank you for taking the time to response.

Yes 50 mm is correct! Thanks for catching the error!

Here’s my upgrades to the machine: :innocent:

That’s your website? Awesome. Thank you for the great ideas. Lasered this out this morning. Much better than the original chinglish version

awesome. I made my purchase this morning. Now the anticipation of its arrival.

Cool. Hopefully a US shipper?

Yes, CA shipper. Now to buy the upgrade details as they ship it my way.

Don’t upgrade until you figure it out and use it. This link was MY holy grail of understanding the included software workflow and producing sellable items. http://m.instructables.com/id/How-to-Cut-and-Engrave-Using-a-K40-Laser-Cutter/ edit- also this one http://diy3dtech.com/k40-chinese-laser-resources/#

Hope this helps. I’m already in the market for a bigger 130w to free up the xcarve for more wood and aluminum items.

Thanks again. I appreciate the feedback.

I can breath again. 3d printed a 4in adapter, punched a hole in the wall, and hooked up a 240cfm bilge blower. No more garage fumes and probably added a couple years to my life.
