If you have a 48v spindle or the 24v one and you have the variable speed control like below:
I had a problem after moving.
The spindle would rotate a tiny bit then reverse and do this rapidly but would not spin.
Took me a while but I found the issue.
If this happens to you first check this:
The pot has 3 wires running from it to the connector on the board.
My problem was one of the wires broke and was not making connection.
This causes the motor controller to get a bad reading and the spindle chatters as it tries to move then is stopped.
gently pull on each wire till you find the one that is broken as it will slide out of the heat shrink tubing.
This should help those who run into the same issue later.
