Can you carve into 4x4 posts? I’d like to carve a half lap joint with a 2x4 and a 4x4 for legs on a sofa table. Will that size fit under the x-axis bar?
There are better ways to do this rather than using the xcarve. A circular saw or table saw. Even a radial arm saw would be better.
But where is the fun in that? 
Do you have an X Carve?
