Ability to set the color of zero depth pieces

The white on the gridded background can be a little tough to find pieces I want to keep for reference but ignore during cut. It would be neat if I could choose to set the zero depth cut pieces to be something like lavender or coral. Really any color that was distinctly not a shade of gray but also visible so I could use the pieces I want to ignore as reference markers.

Just happened upon a good use case for this in my own projects. Trying to center other cuts to invisible zero depth shapes is a pain.

I’ve noticed that very light cuts are rather hard to see as well. Maybe a red outline as soon as they hit a certain minimum threshold?

To align parts: Pin your main piece you want to center to, then select both parts and use the align horizontally and align vertically :+1:

thanks Seth - I got that part down, it’s just if it’s a zero depth part, you can’t see it to select it if you’ve got a lot of other layered cuts over and under it.
