The screen grab is what I’d intended. The photo is what got cut. the workpiece did not move!!
What are your feeds & speeds and bit type/size? Did the machine go back to the exact original starting location?

How tight are your belts? your circle doesnt appear to be round either
The discrepancy most certainly looks like steps in X-direction where lost between the circle and square objects.
Looks like it was running too hard (for the current configuration, unknown state)
