Adding a Font to the Library

I have a font I want to use to cut some letters. I have it in .otf and .ttf format. Is it possible to get these into the Easel library? If not, is there a workaround?

It’s my understanding one cannot add fonts to the Easel library; however, you can:

  1. Add the font to your computer
  2. Create the text in another program and save as a SVG (I use Inkscape)
  3. Import the SVG file into Easel

If you use Inkscape, just be sure to make the text an “object” before saving it so it will import correctly. (Glad my description can be so wonderful right now because I’m not in front of my computer. :woman_facepalming:t2::see_no_evil::blush:)

Let us know if this works for you or if you need better instruction.

Cheers! :wine_glass:

You cannot add to the font library, you can click the Add Fonts + at the top and search through all of the additional fonts (if you have PRO)

Or you can do it like this:
