Adjust Default Z retract height

Is there a way to modify the default Z retract height using Easel or GRBL settings. I have a prebuilt wood sign with a .250 lip on it. I want to make sure when the carve is done it clears the lip on its way back home.

I didn’t have or use fusion or direct Gcode… just easel…

Go into Easel then click on machine then advanced and you should see Saftey height and you can change it there.

Thank you - Thats exactly what I was looking for. Is that per project or permanent machine setting?

You will need to change it for each project.
