Finally got the X Axis belt tensioned properly. Applied shrink wrap on every end, also look pretty neat.

Monday pot setting! Just figured out how do to it, correct me if I’m wrong. For example:

  • X-Axis; I draw a line of 500mm long (from left to right) and tell the machine go deep 0,1mm every passes; It should make 500 passes, right? So I can properly set the pot. I guess.

You want to set the pots with no bit in the spindle and the spindle turned off. You will just be moving the carriage.

Here is an excellent video made by @RobertA_Rieke that shows exactly how to do it. At about 9 minutes into the video he starts showing how the carriage moves sounds when the voltage is too low or too high.

Thanks, it’s probably the nicest looking thing in the garage. Not bad for a bunch of MDF and some 2x4’s. :smile:
