I am trying to make aluminum letters out of a 6063 - T5 aluminum sheet that is .02 in thick. Does anyone know good cut settings for this? I don’t want to waste it. I am using a 1/8" Solid carbide fishtail upcut bit.
I dont know the capability of your machine but with thin sheet its vital to secure it properly so the upcut bit dont lift it while trying to slice it. Masking tape and CA-glue work very well for this application.
Hope someone else can aid you on the cut settings.
