Hi, this is the engraver in itâs collette. I donât have a picture of it in my machine but the collette is the same diameter as the dewalt and sits in the spindle mount.
It works really well (I usually engrave acrylic) but I would like to create an offset mount so that I donât have to take the Dewalt out.
hi, so you do you run it with the motor off? I read that fitting a drag engraving bit to the dewalt would wear out the bushes?

Looks like a large stop collar.
My diamond drag bit is the same without the collar.

Mine is just a 1/4 and fits the 1/4 collet
There is no larger ring like you have.
I am not sure if it is a stop collar but the screw makes it look like one.
