Beer Caddy

For some reason I’ve been wanting to make one of these for a while now, and this week I finally got around to it! First version, so there’s some room for improvement, made a couple mistakes while cutting it out, blah blah blah. Figured I’d share it at any rate!

So the purpose of this was twofold, one to help my design skills (and namely slowly learning Fusion 360), and the other was to help my woodworking and X-carving… So this was my design

If or when I do it again, I will definately make some changes and hopefully get a tighter fit and whatnot, but overall, I’m calling it a success!

Very nice. Was it all cut on the xcarve? If so, how long did it take?

Nicely done!

Everything but the roundover on the handle was cut on my X-Carve. Took about 2.5-2.75 hours for all the pieces.

Just needs a bottle opener on the side…

I did a few of these a while back but on the sides I used 5/16 wood since I get unlimited pieces of that thickness. Plus it cuts down on cutting time a little bit too.

I’m thinking about going a little bit different route with the opener but of course!
