Best material for Outdoor Signs

I’ve got several people wanting me to make signs for the outdoors. Mainly welcome and address signs. What are the best materials to use with the Xcarve?

I use a lot of pvc works great.

I buy it at Menards but not sure if all the big boxs stores have it. You can buy it in narrow boards up to 11.25" or in 2’x4’ sheets.

I use Camphor Laurel timber slabs, it is great outdoors, bugs can’t live in it, and the grain is fantastic, and the X-Carve does them beautifully. The signs look wonderful. If they are going to be out in the weather, I finish them with a clear decking oil, because they don’t need to be re-sanded after it has weathered, simply wash down and reapply more decking oil.
