Bolting the X-Carve down

Does anyone bolt their X-Carve down to the workbench? I have been given a large engineering workbench with a very flat top and was considering bolting my x-carve down to keep it square. I am having problems with the round holes coming out slightly elliptical. It’s not that far out but I’m about to install the upgrade and was thinking of bolting it down after squaring it up. Suggestions??

Hmm, bolting down should be fine, my cnc (not an xcarve) is attached to my rigid workbench. .

I would carve squares and measure diagonal to determine if the setup is square…

But you’d also need to perform a manual calibration to the the move distance to be perfect as well…
