why are my borders different sizes do i have something set wrong
Don’t know your settings but you have the material size as 6" X 16". What is the size of the wood that you’re using? If your material is 6" X 16" and you set home to the bottom left corner then it will come out correct.

In addition to what @RussellCrawford said, make sure that you set zero when the center of your endmill is ON the corner, not inside it.
