I ended up using that bit and it definitely saved the day. I ran the drill at the highest speed, roughly followed Haldor’s settings, Joe’s depth of cut, and I can totally live with the end result. Just gotta turn up a handle!
This was a bit of a pain, but mostly because of my own lack of patience and preparation. It was a really good learning experience though, and I wanna thank everyone for your advice and patience means a lot to be able to come here and get help like this.
