Building your own waste board?

I just received shipping confirmation for my 1000mm unit! I’m super excited! They did let me know the waste board is back ordered. I’m sure this has been covered previously, however if you guys have done this and have photos or videos with tips please send me the link. I’d be extremely grateful.
