Can not load EASEL on to Raspbery Pi

Why won’t Easel load on to Raspberry Pi? I’m downloading the file for Linex.

When you download a Linux image, the platform that runs the image must be able to run the binary that is downloaded. In the case of Easel for Linux it is probably designed around the Intel PC architecture. Your Raspberry PI runs an ARM processor. For it to be compatible, the people at Inventables would have to re-compile the code and drivers for ARM based Linux.

However, you may still be in luck since there are several G-code senders based on the Raspberry PI. You would have to export the G-Code from Easel, download it to your PI and then try to drive the X-carve with your PI.
