Can Vcarve Desktop create a .tap file for Mach 3?

Does anyone know if Vcarve Desktop can create a .tap file for Mach 3?

I know you were asking specifically for Vcarve Desktop, however, Aspire has quite a few choices for MACH 2/3, but they are only .txt files. I did see quite a few different .tap for other machines. So it appears Vectric does make a .tap just not for MACH 2/3. MACH 2/3 had 6 or 7 to choose from.

Hope that helps.

My understanding is that they’re all just text files. Just choose an appropriate post processor.

Use any Mach3 post processor that works for your setup, generate the gcode file, and then just change the file extension .(txt, .nc, etcetera) to .tap. It is also easy to modify the Vectric post processor to output any file extension you want to use. Editing instructions here: Guide to editing a Vectric Post Processor - Vectric Customer

Does anyone know if there is a converter that will convert a nc code from easel into a tap code that a cnc shark can read. Or if there is a way to save the svg file from easel and open it in v-carve desktop to create the tap file?

Thank you!
