Is there a best way to secure a piece of wood to the carve table if I plan to carve all the way through the wood? I don’t want the cut out piece to move around during the cut and damage the bit. Or is that not really an issue?
Won’t damage the bit usually, but will destroy the workpiece.
You can use tabs with clamps or use super glue and tape to hold the piece down.
