Carving foreign-language alphabets using Easel?

Hello everyone,

I looked through the forums and was not able to find an answer.

I’m an X-Carve user and trying to find a way to carve foreign-language alphabets using Easel.
Has anyone tried Non-English Characters on Easel? I know I can type/create texts in 3rd party software and import them into Easel but was wondering if there is any way I can do it on Easel. Does Easel PRO have that capability?
If Easel doesn’t support that, what is the easiest way to do it?

Thanks!

Easel do not allow for user-import of fonts.

The easiest way to do this is to simply make the desired text in a photo editor program like Photoshop, Paint etc. and make a high rez image of that.

The import this image with Easel -> Image Import.

Rather then tracing, it should be possible to set the text in a vector editor, then convert the type to paths, then save as a vector format which Easel will import.

Thanks Will!

This worked! I used the Japanese characters for daughter as an image and it worked great! Thanks.
