Carving keeps stopping (Resolved)

Up at the top of Easel where it says machine.

or hit CTRL+SHIFT+D on PC or CMD+SHIFT+D on Mac.

I actually had a conversation with X-Carve support and my solution was simple. I put my router on one outlet. Moved the power cord to a different outlet and (knock on wood) It hasn’t stopped yet. I had the router, x-controler and my computer all in one surge protector next to the machine before. Oh and the cord for the shop vac was there too. I think that is the one that did it.so now everyone is moved to their own outlets.

I must say that I had a problem where the computer would lose connection to the X-controler during a carve. After reading a few of the threads on here, I came to this one. The only thing that I did was to disable the USB power settings. I think my computer is running windows 8 and my UGS is the most recent non beta version.

Thanks for being a community of makers. Carve on Garth.

Hi, you haven’t said, did you get issues resolved?

I’m just now experiencing this issue. I cannot seem to get it resolved.

Make sure you’re using a shielded USB cable with ferrite cores, and make sure the USB cable is nowhere near any power or other cables
