Hi. I’m using the free version of Easel with a DIY machine with Arduino control. Sometimes I set up carving then press Carve and the process immediately stops just before the spindle moves. No messages to say why this is. I have to restart the carving process again from scratch. Also carving occasionally stops in mid stream. Is this a comms problem?

Steven. I believe my problem is the hard limit switches $16 in the grbl set-up (accessed from Easel using the machine set-up, Advanced menu). When I turned off the Hard Limits ($=0) the problem has gone away. There are other forum topics on this which suggest the problem is electrical noise. But how to eliminate?? Still thinking!
