Any hints on the chattering? Brushes close to spent? Hoping it can make 1 hour and finish the carve.
I would start with the brushes, or possibly changing to a Makita upgrade much Quiter longer brush life.
Yes it was brushes. Spindle upgrade will happen sometime, but not yet. It stopped about 15 minutes later but I was able to hit stop button in easel before it died completely. I’ll lose about an 1:45 with the machine going over the same path again but that’s better than a wasted piece.
Other than tracking hours of operation, any suggestions for knowing when to change brushes before it dies?
Also… my dust collection is WAY louder than the Dewalt router. So until I get away from shop vac the quiet part doesn’t matter
