Tried an inlay using 20 degree bit to cut both the oak and walnut 5mm deep. Made the walnut vectors slightly smaller than oak so that it didn’t quite reach the bottom of the cavity when glued in. Mirrored the walnut (very important). The Walnut slightly protruded once glued. Used the linisher to remove the excess walnut, sanded and finished with some osmo Polyx oil. Very happy with the result.
