I have downloaded dxf into easel. The outside of the gear, the lightening holes, and the center holes are all seperate. How do you move them as a whole and still be able to cut inside or outside as required?
Finally got it after playing for awhile.
you could also use the combine function after changing them to 0 depth and basically Cut them into the outer gear shape… the issue with the Group function is that it then greys out the depth settings and it doesn’t clarify that this is why the depth is greyed out, So do beware that IF you ever see the depth setting greyed out the root cause is because it’s part of a grouped selection and you’d need to ungroup in order to edit the depths of any piece…
