Hi. Has anyone upgraded their x carve with the cnc4newbie x carve update kit and if so, did you have any success changing your grbl values supplied from cnc4newbie. I’m having problems reconnecting my x controller to the new upgrade kit.
Did you upgrade the whole machine or just the z axes?
the whole machine, they gave a new list of grbl settings and thats when it all fell apart, i have no clue in the grbl world. I kept my x controller , every thing else is new. use easel to use my g code but design through v carve pro.
I have only done the z axes so not sure about the rest.

What’re you using to control the machine?
You just need to send the new grbl values.
I have the Z axis, supplied settings worked for me. Steve
