I recently picked up an xcarve 1000 via local ad and it works great, but as it is the older one and previous owner went with the bosch colt for a router, it is crazy loud.
So I just bought a 500W quiet air-cooled spindle to bring noise down but hopefully not too much loss of power and want to also take advantage of PWM speed control. The new quiet spindle has a ‘PWM / Mach 3’ port, could I just connect the S+ / S- to PWM?
