What’s wrong with S0?

As far as I know S0 only works correctly in my version of 1.0c and version 1.1f.

Prior versions would not hold the PWM pin low, but would have it at the S1 equivalent when the setting was S0. It was a bug in previous versions.

Even if S0 works, M5 is more explicit, more intentional as it’s the designated command for “spindle stop”.

S0 is the equivalent of removing your finger from the trigger. M5 is the equivalent of the safety switch. If you’re careful, you can live with both (no pun intended).

If I understand this thread right then it’s not possible to have a VFD controlled by an X-Controller without sacrificing either the X-Controller’s Mist or Flood Port just for the sake of turning the VFD’s Spindle on/off while also having access to it’s RPM settings?

How does one reconfigure their Post Processor ( F360 ) to automatically include ( or exclude ) certain commands?
