Blue is in the red tube (removable) and the red is in the blue tube (not so much removable).
What was the conversation like when they were designing the packaging: “Let’s make it simple - we will always put the Blue version in a red tube and the Red version in the blue tube so nobody will ever be confused. Nailed it!”

I like the concept and agree it would be really usefull for clamping but I think there would be trouble when it comes to thinner materials, , splitting of the work piece primarily.

The optical illusion is achieved by clever shaping of the surface. Seems like the perfect toy to make with our machines. Who is up to figuring out the surface shape and making an STL file? @PhilJohnson

Just saw this on Kickstarter. No guarantee it will ever ship, but for $79 (if they keep that price) it would be a nice addition to the other measuring tools.

I’m pretty sure I saw both Apple and Google announce that feature for their upcoming phones. Probably backwards compatible as well.
So unless I’m missing something they come too late
I don’t think this is for sale, but for the right price this would be a nice addition to most shops. The software is the key to it’s usefulness.
