I have crated several text based carves and as soon as i hit the carve button the text stretches outside of the work area.
This does not happen every time so… what am i doing wrong.Has anyone encountered this problem?
I also have had this happen many times, the only way i carve text now is by hitting show toolpaths before every carve. It then will show you if its in bounds of your project. But its only in certain fonts like homested for example. I am intrested to see what others or if others have same problem or fix.
I am almost 100% sure this is a bug in Easel. I have a sneaking suspicion it is not supposed to run that way. I haven’t cut native Easel texts in a while, so can’t comment on that aspect.
I would suggest (as a temporary solution) to use Inkscape to generate the text and import it into Easel, until this gets fixed.
