I’ve cut some projects and the font was done exactly like it showed on the simulated example. I did another one yesterday and the bit didn’t even scratch the board. Everything else was cut fine but the letters were not.

It might be that the bit you are using is larger than the width of the font or parts of the font you are trying to cut out. Try changing the bit size (something smaller) and simulating the cut in Easel. See if that cuts out what you were expecting it to on the 3d simulation.

I just had the same thing happen to me yesterday. I ended up manually probing my board , then had to set my depth at 2x the depth I wanted and it ended up perfect … not saying that is the correct fix but it worked for me .
