Cutting on the Edge

So i recently got my xcarve and assembled it and looking for some insight into one of my first projects in Easel

I am cutting the sides for a Feeder for my Honeybees. Normally i would just setup my dado on the table saw, but why when i have my new machine that can get a relatively more precise cut for me. any way

here’s my project http://easel.inventables.com/projects/nzC9gnh9wxUQ-kTNKghADA

I have my lines right to the edge of the material but i see in Easel there is a (I bet) very thin piece of wood on the edges. before i go and cut it - is this just a visual thing in the software that it will not show a cut beyond the material width or do i have to extend the lines.

thanks

I would just widen and lengthen your dados to take that thin strip out. When i did it on your project the this strips went away.
