I have a profile pattern that I generated using CAD software. I converted it to an SVG by using Inkscape. When I cut it out with the X-Carve the router cuts small segments, then returns to cut a little deeper, then returns again to cut all of the way through. When I cut a profile from a pattern that I created in Easel it does a full pass around the entire pattern profile, then moves down and cuts deeper again around the profile until it finally cuts through the material. It seems like the time to cut is doubled or tripled when the cutter keeps cutting the small segments. Is there a way to change the cut instructions to get the X-Carve to cut the full profile before taking the next deeper cut?
Your SVG is not a continuous path. Depending on the file you may be able to combine them.
