Is it possible to zoom in and out on the detailed view section of the screen with a laptop through mouse movements or keypad combinations? I think people have said you need to add an external mouse with a scroll button but not sure. Thanks for the help!
If you have a scroll wheel on your mouse, hold the Ctrl button on the keyboard, then roll in and out. This will zoom in and out any screen.

Without a Mouse it can also be done using the touchpad:
Hold Shift, and using the touchpad use 2 Fingers and slide upwards towards the screen to zoom in, and back away from the screen to zoom out.
A Mouse with a scroll wheel does make this a LOT easier/faster though…
