Hello Does anyone have experience with Low Helix Finishers?
like these on hard and soft woods?
If these are upcut spirals then you should get a decent finish. I use a low helix compression bit that is an up and down spiral and they are amazing. I get great finish in all types of wood. I have had the bits for quite some time and don’t recall where I purchased them but I am sure there is plenty information available online. You also get a better finish when the bit has more flutes and then there are the feeds, speeds and step over that also contribute to finish.
