I am making a table saw sled and rather than use a router I would like to use 1/2" Dovetail bit on the X-Carve. Is there a way to add this to my tools and what would be the recommended carve settings?
To make a sled using a dovetail bit you need to cut about 1/2" of material at one time, I don’t think the XCarve will do well with that. You would do better using a router mounted to a table with a fence.
