That would be great for making a bat house. Bat houses are all about surface area, and grip. They're typically tall and wide, but not very deep. Just a few inches gap for them to get inside. The walls have to be ribbed so their gross little bat hands can grab on and climb around. A big part of the effort in making a bat house is getting those grooves in place. Some people put a nail through a board and then drag it across, but that's just nasty. This could make quick work of that.
