I was getting ready to carve a project this morning and when I logged into Easel I got a notification that there was a new driver update. I stupidly went ahead and installed it and then began to carve my project. What I should have done was carve a test piece because the XCarve went completely off the rails after this update and ruined a nice piece of Cherry. I went to the downloads section and downloaded and reinstalled version 3.11 for Windows and then everything worked as it should. Not sure why the update glitched me but I’ll hold off a while before updating again.
I didn’t mention it before but the top image was with 3.12 driver and the bottom carve was from the reinstalled 3.11 driver on Windows 10 machine.
