Since upgrading with the new Makita Router and carve holder the dust collection doesn’t worked as it should.You can’t install the small piece of plexiglass on the dust collection. The router lock comes down and hits it I found out the hard way by having it crack on its initial run. Are there any alternatives with the dust collection? Does anyone have any ideas.
Get some thin acrylic and design & carve a replacement that works with the Makita…

I had to adjust mine when I switched, you can move the circle forward or back and make it bigger if needed. Then select both objects, combine and set to cut outside.
