Hi,

We have released a new version of the Easel Driver, v0.3.18. Driver is available immediately to be downloaded for Windows, macOS and Ubuntu Linux at Easel - Downloads. You will be prompted to upgrade next time you carve.

Hi i have installed the v0.3.18 driver and i can not complete it keeps saying connect the USB lead and switch.
My laptop recognizes the cnc when i plug the USB lead in. Easel was working great before the update.

Hi Ian,
Are you still encountering this problem? Any screenshots or error messages in the browser console would be helpful. If you open a project and go to Machine > Advanced > Machine Inspector, is anything logged?

I had to reset all my setting. As for some reason they had been zeroed.
But all is work great again. Thank you for getting back to me.

Should this also work on other machines? I have a Sainsmart 3018 Pro, I can use Candle to drive it but Easel can’t see it
It’s on port /dev/ttyUSB0 if that helps.

Hi Shaun,
Easel can work with Sainsmart 3018 Pro. The connection issue might be due to cached settings or another unrelated issue.
