I am new to easel and I am trying to connect to my Shapeoko XL. In easel I have connected the machine but I can not home the machine because it keeps saying the machine cannot move while the door is open. I have no idea what this means since I don’t even see a door on the machine. Can anyone tell me anything about how to work this problem.

possibly you made the improper selection during setup, go to edit machine setting remove and try again.

I don’t know much about the Shapeoko but most of them have enclosers with a door switch. If the door is open it will not run. So you may have some sort of button or swtich that needs to be depressed or like Ken4 said maybe your setup is wrong. If it is a switch i think there is a run around like depressing it with a piece of tape.
