Hey everyone. I just started back up on my XCarve and I’ve ran into a problem. I will draw up a file in AI and then export as an SVG. Easel imports it fine but changes the dimensions. Always smaller. Not a big problem but I’m building items with interlocking pieces and it seems to throw things off. Any ideas? Thanks in advance for any help you can give. Cheers!

It’s not an Easel issue. The svg protocol does not support objective ‘dimensions’ like you are used to with proprietary file formats. Especially when sharing svg’s between different pieces of software, dimensions are usually off. The easiest way to work around it is to add a containing box of known dimensions to the original artwork. Then import and scale until your box has the exact same dimensions again.
