Easel setup on new computer

I got a new laptop (well, new to me anyway) that will live out in the garage pretty much just for running easel and the universal g code sender. My other laptop, the one I initially used to set up my xcarve, knows that I have the 1000x1000 version, but of course this laptop doesn’t know that. Do I have to go through the whole machine setup again with this laptop connected to get easel setup right to use, even though the x-carve was already setup before on a different computer?

I don’t think you have to, I think the important parts of the setup process (like the type of z-axis screw you’re using) get saved to grbl. You could just manually set your machine size in the options, but that said, it only takes a minute to go through Easel so it might be worth it, just to be safe.
