Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong ? I have tried all sorts of depth settings but the text does not show up in preview. I have not yet tried cutting the job. Thanks

Likely the bit that you have selected in your cut setting in the upper right hand corner of the screen isn’t able complete the cut. Try selecting a smaller cutter and that should populate the text in the preview screen.

It looks like the project you tried sharing isnt public so I wasnt able to see your setup but I think what @DanielRomberg said is likely the case. If the text is smaller than the bit can carve it wont show up. Try making the text larger or selecting a smaller bit such as a 1/32" or 1/16" bit .
