Editing hole depth

I found that after selecting a group of hole objects, only using the slider to adjust the depth works. Entering a value in the data box does not update the depth. Is there something I am not doing that will register the entered number?

When you enter a number you need to select a path such as clear out pocket or cut outside. If you just type in a number and go on without selecting a path it will revert back to what you had before.

Well, for hole drilling there is no selection for tool path.
However, that gave me an idea.
What worked is selecting the ‘shape’ tab after entering the number.
That apparently registers the entry.
So, all good now.
