Ending a job with Easel

Quick question as I have just ordered the Xcarve. I have used the CNC Shark in the past and my question is when I run a program in Easel and the job finishes, does the X,Y,Z axis return to you original location above the workpiece.?

Yes it returns to your Zero Point where you started the carving, accept Z is raised to clear the carving for removal. Hope that helps!

Also worth noting, once you’ve run a job, the next time you hit Carve you’ll have an option to “use last home position.” This is useful if you make a mistake and don’t carve something deep enough, or you want to carve different areas at different times with the same bit.
