I am trying to get some research in regards to doing engraving on metal plates and cannot seem to find what I am looking for in forum searches. similar to what we use to see on trophies and plaques before lasers were a big thing.
Essentially I am looking for some way to add the ability to make plaques in brass to add to my work. I have a 40W laser, but it can be tricky to work with. I have been looking at some small lasers that can do small plates, but the size seems to be on the small end.
Any suggestions on what I should look into? Also, does anyone know where I can get a good price on the plates themselves?
